
Minister for National Food Security, Rana Tanveer Hussain, spoke in the National Assembly about Pakistan’s desire for peace and stability in the region. He highlighted Pakistan’s role as a mediator between Iran and the US, stating this will be remembered in history.
Despite tensions between the US and Iran, he noted that Pakistan has not faced any shortage of petroleum products. Rana Tanveer emphasized Pakistan’s status as a peace-loving country and its continuous pursuit of regional stability.
In discussing the budget for the upcoming financial year, the minister said that both the business community and society at large have appreciated the measures announced. He added that incentives are being provided to boost the export sector.
Regarding the agriculture sector, Rana Tanveer stressed the government’s commitment to enhancing productivity and profitability of farmers. He assured stability in the supply and prices of Urea, and mentioned the transformation of PARC with Chinese cooperation.
