Pakistan Telecom Authority Set to Host Historic 5G Spectrum Auction in March

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) announced that the auction for Next Generation Mobile Services (NGMS) 5G spectrum in Pakistan will be held on March 10, 2026.

According to the regulator, the final auction schedule was set after extensive consultation with stakeholders and regulatory alignment. This ensures a transparent, smooth, and well-participated process.

The schedule provides telecom operators and potential bidders adequate time to prepare, signaling PTA’s commitment to broad participation and full compliance with regulatory requirements.

Interested parties have been advised to review the Information Memorandum (IM) related to the NGMS/5G spectrum auction and stay updated with the latest information published on PTA’s official website.
