Pakistan is set to assume the presidency of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) for the upcoming two-year term. The Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, will take on the role of ACC president.
The presidency of the ACC rotates among member nations, with the current president, Jay Shah, who also serves as the secretary of the Indian cricket board, receiving a one-year extension earlier this year.
As Jay Shah’s term comes to an end, Mohsin Naqvi will step in as the new president of the ACC. This transition will be formally confirmed during the ACC’s upcoming meeting, scheduled for October and November.
