
President of the Pakistan Sports Writers Federation, Amjad Aziz Malik, has been elected as a Lifetime Honorary Member of the International Sports Press Association (AIPS). The prestigious honour was conferred on him during the 88th AIPS Congress held in Lausanne, Switzerland, which was attended by representatives from 111 countries across the world. Along with Amjad Aziz Malik, five other veteran sports journalists from Japan, Spain, Malta, Brazil, and Turkey, who have rendered outstanding services to AIPS for more than a decade, were also awarded Lifetime Honorary Membership. Amjad Aziz Malik has become the first Pakistani sports journalist to receive this honour in the 102-year history of AIPS. The recognition not only acknowledges his personal contributions but also marks a historic milestone for sports journalism in Pakistan. Secretary of the Pakistan Sports Writers Federation, Muhammad Asghar Azeem, extended heartfelt congratulations to Amjad Aziz Malik on this remarkable achievement.
