The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks are slated to face off once again in Super Bowl LX on February 8, 2026. This rematch commemorates their highly publicized 2015 matchup, rekindling discussions about both teams’ histories in the championship.

Super Bowl LX marks the Patriots’ sixth Super Bowl appearance and is their last known Super Bowl outing, having triumphed over the Los Angeles Rams with a score of 13-3 in Super Bowl LIII. Their overall record in the Super Bowl features six victories against five losses.

Conversely, Seattle Seahawks made their most recent Super Bowl appearance in 2015 and secured a win by defeating the Patriots with a score of 28-24 at the University of Phoenix Stadium. This victory marked only one triumph for the franchise, having lost two previous times in Super Bowls XLIX (2015) and XLVIII (2014).

In their last encounter, which took place in Super Bowl LI in 2017, the Patriots emerged victorious with a score of 28-24. This game is notably one of the most analyzed finishes in Super Bowl history.

Since that time, the Patriots have secured further appearances in Super Bowls XLIX (2015), LIII (2019), and LVI (2022). Meanwhile, the Seahawks’ last entry into the championship was their loss to the Patriots in 2015. Super Bowl LX will take place on February 8, 2026.

The game is set for kickoff at approximately 6:30 PM ET on a Sunday, hosted by Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. This stadium previously served as host venue for Super Bowl LVI in 2022, where it was contested between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers.

NBC will broadcast the event live, with streaming options available via Peacock and additional coverage provided by Telemundo and Universo. The Super Bowl halftime show is expected to feature Bad Bunny, while Green Day will perform at the opening ceremony, preceded by Charlie Puth’s rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” and Brandi Carlile’s performance of “America the Beautiful.”
