In Lahore, a buildup of dense clouds is anticipated between February 9 and February 10, accompanied by heavy rainfall. Southern Punjab will also witness rain interspersed with hail during the same timeframe.

Additional districts such as Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Sargodha, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Layyah, Dera Ghazi Khan, Khushab, Jhang, Noorpur Thal, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, and Sialkot are expected to receive rainfall.

PDMA Director General Irfan Ali Kathia has directed local government, health departments, Rescue 1122 disaster response teams, the police, and transport authorities to prepare in advance for these weather events. He emphasized that all emergency control room staff should remain on high alert.

Kathia advised citizens to avoid unnecessary travel during adverse weather conditions and cautioned tourists in Murree to take necessary precautions as per official instructions to prevent any unfortunate incidents.
