
The Prime Minister has given approval for a significant reduction in fuel prices, with petrol prices decreasing by Rs 5.45 per liter and diesel prices by Rs 8.42 per liter.
As per the notification issued by the finance ministry, the new prices are set at Rs 288.49 per liter for petrol and Rs 281.96 per liter for diesel. These revised prices will come into effect for the next fortnight starting from May 1.
