As Eid-ul-Adha approaches, the price of petroleum products is expected to decrease significantly.

Over the next 15 days, the prices of petroleum products are anticipated to drop by Rs9.30. Starting June 16, the price of petrol is expected to decrease by Rs9.28, while the price of diesel is expected to fall by Rs4.02. Additionally, the price of kerosene is likely to decrease by Rs2.

This expected reduction follows a significant drop in crude oil prices in the international market over the past week. The benefits of the reduced global prices are anticipated to be passed on to the public.

According to media reports, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) will submit a summary to the government on June 15. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will provide the final approval regarding the new prices of petroleum products.
