This expected reduction follows a significant drop in crude oil prices in the international market over the past week. The benefits of the reduced global prices are anticipated to be passed on to the public.

According to media reports, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) will submit a summary to the government on June 15. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will provide the final approval regarding the new prices of petroleum products.
