PIA Begins Pre-Hajj Flights From Lahore, Handles Over 12K Pilgrims

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) kicked off its pre-Hajj operations from Lahore with the first flight, PK-747, departing for Medina on Friday. The aircraft carried 310 pilgrims.

More than 12,000 pilgrims are set to depart from Lahore via 34 special Hajj flights. PIA Station Manager Ashfaq Awan and District Manager Wajid Saleem were among those present at the airport as the pilgrims were seen off with a ceremony.

PIA also distributed umbrellas to the pilgrims during their departure.
