The aircraft had 10 people on board, including the Vice President.
The plane disappeared from radar shortly after taking off from Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi, en route to Mzuzu. This alarming incident has led to urgent actions to locate the plane and ensure the safety of Vice President Chilima and the other passengers.
