Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized on Thursday that the Pakistan Armed Forces are fully capable of countering any aggressive designs. Addressing the unprovoked attacks by Afghanistan across the border in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sharif underscored the resolve of both the armed forces and the nation to safeguard the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Reacting to these incidents, Sharif highlighted the preparedness of Pakistan’s defense institutions. “The entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with our armed forces,” he said. The Prime Minister attributed this collective stance directly to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir’s leadership within the Army Chief and Chief of Defence Forces.

“Under the guidance of these leaders, the Pakistan Armed Forces are committed to maintaining peace and security at all costs. They possess advanced training, effective defense strategies, and professional skills,” Sharif noted.

The PM stressed that no compromise will be made regarding national defense. “Every act of aggression against our country will receive decisive responses from the armed forces,” he stated. Pakistan has always promoted peaceful resolutions but is steadfast in ensuring its sovereignty remains intact.

“However, we stand firm against any threat to our nation’s security and will use all necessary means to counter any aggression,” Sharif concluded.
