PM Shehbaz meets President Zardari on national security and AJK elections

ISLAMABAD – In a significant bilateral meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) party met with President Asif Ali Zardari of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) at Aiwan-e-Sadr. The leaders engaged in crucial discussions on national and security matters.

Key topics discussed included Pakistan’s involvement in the Gaza Peace Board, as well as overall national and internal security concerns. They also touched upon the upcoming election for the new President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).

Sources within both parties revealed that the meeting highlighted a continued consultative process between ruling and allied parties on matters critical to national stability and regional influence.
