PM Shehbaz Sharif Arrives in Riyadh for Future Investment Initiative Summit

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Riyadh on a two-day visit to strengthen bilateral ties and participate in the Future Investment Initiative (FII) summit.

He was received at the airport by Riyadh Deputy Governor Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz and Pakistan’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Farooq.

Accompanying the prime minister are key cabinet members, including the finance, defence, privatisation, information, petroleum, and commerce ministers.

The FII summit, themed “Infinite Horizons: Investing Today, Shaping Tomorrow”, focuses on global investments in areas like artificial intelligence, energy, healthcare, and sustainability. PM Shehbaz is expected to hold talks with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and other officials to discuss economic and strategic partnerships, with a focus on cooperation in economic, energy, and defence sectors.

He will also engage with global leaders and entrepreneurs attending the summit.
