PM Shehbaz Sharif Visits China in May for CPEC, Trade Talks

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif plans a May trip to China, according to an official statement from Islamabad. This high-level engagement is anticipated to bolster Pakistan-China relations.

China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) progress will be a major topic of discussion during Sharif’s visit. He is set to meet with Chinese leaders and brief them on the Middle East crisis.

US-Iran situation, regional dynamics, and investment prospects are also expected to feature in the talks. The Foreign Office has begun preparations for Sharif’s itinerary.
