
Governor of Sindh Nehal Hashmi met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday. They discussed regional developments and matters concerning the province.
According to a press release from the Prime Minister’s Office Media Wing, Governor Hashmi appreciated Prime Minister’s efforts in facilitating ceasefire between US and Iran and his initiatives for promoting regional peace.
During the meeting, Governor briefed the premier about various administrative and development-related issues affecting Sindh.
Separately, Governor met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar. During this meeting, Dar congratulated Hashmi on assuming office in March 2026 and extended good wishes. Both sides discussed governance, economic development and public welfare initiatives. The federal government reaffirmed its commitment to supporting development and prosperity across provinces.
