
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted that parts of the country including southern Punjab, Balochistan, and lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are expected to experience intermittent rain, gusty winds, and thunderstorms over the next 24 hours. The department also indicated that hailstorms may occur in certain areas.
In Islamabad, there will be cold and dry weather with partly cloudy skies. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is set to remain mainly cold and dry but will have very cold weather in its upper districts while isolated rain and thunderstorms are expected in Waziristan, Tank, Dera Ismail Khan, Lakki Marwat, Karak, Parachinar, and surrounding regions.
Sindh’s weather will largely be dry with partly cloudy skies, but isolated storms are anticipated. In Sindh, Dadu, Jamshoro, Larkana, Jacobabad, Karachi, Hyderabad, and their immediate surroundings can expect these conditions.
Balochistan is predicted to have cloudy skies with intermittent rain, gusty winds, and thunderstorms in places such as Chaman, Quetta, Pishin, Muslim Bagh, Zhob, Ziarat, Barkhan, Sibbi, Kalat, Kech, Panjgur, Washuk, Kharan, Awaran, Lasbella, Khuzdar, Gwadar, and nearby areas. Hailstorms may also be a factor in these regions.
In Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, the weather will remain partly cloudy with isolated rain and thunderstorms expected.
