Trump Describes Iran’s New Leaders As ‘Very Reasonable’

US President Donald Trump stated that direct and indirect meetings with Iran have taken place, and he believes Iran’s new leaders are reasonable. He expressed confidence in reaching a deal but acknowledged the possibility of no agreement.

Trump also mentioned that regime change had been achieved in Tehran following strikes on Supreme Leader and other top officials. However, he noted that their replacements seemed reasonable.

Iran’s parliament speaker accused the US of planning ground invasion while negotiating for talks. Iran vowed to respond if American soldiers were deployed.

Israel launched over 140 air strikes on central and western Iran within a day, targeting missile launch sites and storage facilities. Iranian state media reported strikes at Mehrabad airport and Tabriz petrochemical plant.

An Iranian missile hit a chemical plant in southern Israel near Beersheba, prompting warnings to the public due to hazardous materials. Hundreds of special operations personnel have arrived in the region, along with thousands of US marines on Friday. The Pentagon is considering ground force options but Trump has not approved any plans, according to news outlets.
