PMD Forecasts Rain Amid Heatwave in Islamabad, Nearby Areas

Pakistan Meteorological Department forecasts rain and thunderstorms across several regions. Intense heat persists in most major cities including Islamabad. Rain expected at isolated locations in Lahore, Hafizabad, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot, and Narowal.

Rain may occur in isolated areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa districts like Chitral, Dir, Swat, Abbottabad, Kohat, Peshawar, and Malakand. Severe heatwave continues across most Sindh districts while Balochistan remains hot and dry. Experts advise citizens to take precautions due to extreme temperatures affecting health.
