Punjab’s health department has received a comprehensive preliminary report detailing former prime minister Imran Khan’s medical condition. The detailed chart includes his blood pressure, pulse rate, body temperature, and blood sugar levels, along with documentation of his current eye condition. Consultant findings are also included in the report, which regularly documents available medical staff at the jail.

Sources indicate that Imran Khan undergoes daily medical examinations, with all records compiled and shared with relevant authorities. Government officials have stated that decisions regarding his future treatment will be made based on these reports. Recommendations from a medical board will also play a role in determining the course of action.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has underscored the seriousness of Khan’s health issue and committed to ensuring all aspects of his treatment are conducted transparently. Authorities have stressed that providing healthcare for prisoners in accordance with law is their responsibility, which is being upheld in Khan’s case as well.

The PTI maintains that due to its founder’s condition, all stages of his medical care should be carried out with full transparency and adherence to the legal framework.
