President Asif Ali Zardari approves SEZs Amendment Bill 2026

President Asif Ali Zardari approved the Special Economic Zones (Amendment) Bill, 2026 on Thursday. The bill was recommended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and aims to promote industrial growth in the country.

The amendment seeks to encourage development of special economic zones through incentives, an investor-friendly framework, and expeditious dispute resolution process.
