
ISLAMABAD – President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute on Wednesday for the successful operations carried out by security forces against terrorists across northern and southern Pakistan, as well as in Balochistan. In separate statements from the Presidency and Prime Minister’s Office, both leaders praised the professionalism and bravery of the security forces.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a total of 34 terrorists were eliminated during operations against “Fitna-e-Hindustan” and “Fitna al-Khawarij,” with 30 weapons recovered. President Zardari commended these actions, emphasizing the high performance and readiness of security forces under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam.” He underscored that continued efforts would safeguard national security.
In Balochistan, Prime Minister Sharif echoed appreciation for successful operations against “Fitna al-Khawarij” with 26 terrorists eliminated. In addition to this, eight terrorists were neutralized linked with “Fitna-e-Hindustan,” also under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam.” Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to completely eliminate terrorism from Pakistan.
The success underscored a unified effort against terrorist threats on both the northern and southern borders. President Zardari praised the security forces for their relentless efforts in confronting external-backed terror organizations, while Prime Minister Sharif highlighted the armed forces’ continuous successes against “Fitna al-Khawarij” and “Fitna-e-Hindustan.” They expressed confidence that with the combined vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” terrorism would be eradicated soon.
