President Zardari Signs Finance Bill 2026 into Law

President Asif Ali Zardari endorsed the Finance Bill 2026 on Friday, officially ratifying the federal budget for the fiscal year 2026-27. Under Article 75 of the Constitution, this step formalizes the upcoming budget set to take effect from July 1, 2026.

The Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Muhammad Aurangzeb, presented the budget before the National Assembly on June 12, 2026. After debate, the House approved the Finance Bill 2026 on June 23, rejecting all amendments proposed by the opposition.
