
Federal Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal announced on Wednesday that the Prime Minister Sehat Card has been launched in Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). This initiative allows all permanent residents to access free healthcare services across these regions.
During a meeting with Gilgit-Baltistan Provincial Health Minister and Information Minister, Kamal highlighted challenges faced by ongoing health projects. He emphasized that the Federal government is utilizing available resources to improve healthcare services in G-B. Kamal also noted the need to enhance service quality at hospitals included in the Sehat Card program.
The minister expressed his intention to visit these areas soon to personally oversee the healthcare facilities provided under the Sehat Card. Additionally, he stated that the federal government has allocated three vehicles for Gilgit-Baltistan to aid health services.
