
Prince Rahim Aga Khan V arrived in Islamabad for an official six-day visit to Pakistan.
The Presidency confirmed the visit, with arrangements made at federal level for full state protocol. President Asif Ali Zardari received Prince Rahim Aga Khan V upon arrival at Nur Khan Airbase, along with First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar, and senior civil and military officials.
A formal guard of honour was present as the national anthem played during a ceremony at President House. The visit includes engagements with federal authorities and representatives from Gilgit-Baltistan, focusing on development cooperation, institutional collaboration, and community welfare initiatives. Prince Rahim Aga Khan V will remain in Pakistan until May 26 for scheduled meetings.
