Prince William, Kate Middleton Wishes Good Luck for Women’s Six Nations Championship

Prince William and Kate Middleton expressed their best wishes for all players and support staff at the Women’s Six Nations Championship on Friday. In a social media post, they said “Here’s to an exciting start to the tournament and some unforgettable rugby.”

The Prince and Princess of Wales hold opposing rugby patronages – the Prince has been patron of the Welsh Rugby Union since 2016, while Kate became patron of England’s Rugby Football Union and Rugby Football League in 2022.

The Women’s Six Nations Championship kicks off on Saturday, April 11. World champions England aim for an eighth successive title and a fifth consecutive Grand Slam against Ireland at Allianz Stadium.
