**Punjab MPs’ Membership Restored; Nine Still Suspend**

According to reliable sources, the membership of 41 Punjab Assembly members has been restored. These reinstated members will be able to participate in today’s session of the Punjab Assembly.

Conversely, nine members who did not submit their asset declarations remain suspended and thus cannot attend the current session. This situation stems from a previous order by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) suspending memberships of 159 national and provincial assembly members for non-compliance with financial disclosure requirements.

Among those affected were 32 members of the National Assembly, 50 members of the Punjab Assembly, 33 members of the Sindh Assembly, 28 members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly, seven members of the Balochistan Assembly, and nine senators.
