In the picturesque landscapes of Punjab, the holy month of Ramadan is being ushered in with vibrant illumination and festive decorations. Following directives from Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, cities and villages have transformed into shimmering spectacles adorned with arch-shaped lighting installations, neon signs, and colorful lights.

Rawalpindi stands as a prime example, where main roads, markets, and intersections are festooned in radiant hues. The city’s Greenbelt is illuminated with dazzling lights, featuring inscriptions of Allah’s names along key thoroughfares that create an enchanting atmosphere. Arch-shaped lighting installations, adorned with the slogan “Ramazan Nigehban,” line major roadways, while arches at special Ramazan Bazaars and Dastarkhwan centers attract public attention.

In Chakwal and Talagang, streets and bazaar thoroughfares are transformed with festive decorations. In Attock, Khushab, Mianwali, and Faisalabad, as well as Bahawalpur, Nankana Sahib, Sargodha, Vehari, Gujrat, and Muzaffargarh, similar arrangements have been made to welcome the month.

Electric lighting has further enhanced the festive ambiance in Multan, Khanewal, Lodhran, Rajanpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalnagar, Sahiwal, and Pakpattan. Murree’s winding roads are bathed in decorative lights to celebrate the holy month’s arrival.

Pushcart markets across cities have also been illuminated for Ramazan. Additionally, the provincial government has established subsidized food supply centers called Sahulat and Ramazan Bazaars, aimed at facilitating citizens and nurturing a festive spirit throughout Punjab.

This collective effort by authorities showcases the dedication to ensuring that every citizen can partake in the joyous traditions of Ramadan, celebrating their faith with pride and zeal across these beautiful landscapes.
