
Shafay Hussain, Punjab’s Minister for Industry and Commerce, has pledged strong support for the promotion of local solar panel manufacturing in the province.
During discussions with a delegation from a Chinese solar company, Hussain explored plans for establishing solar panel factories in Punjab, underscoring the government’s keen interest in boosting local manufacturing in this sector.
Highlighting Chinese companies’ eagerness to invest in Punjab’s solar energy sector, Hussain assured them of the government’s commitment to providing necessary facilities. He hinted at the formulation of a comprehensive long-term policy aimed at incentivizing investment in solar energy.
