Qatar Airways is set to showcase Sama 2.0, the world’s first human-like AI cabin crew, at the Dubai World Trade Centre annual exhibition from May 6 to 9, 2024. Visitors at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) will have the opportunity to meet and engage with this groundbreaking AI-powered cabin crew at the Qatar Airways pavilion in Hall No.2.

Sama 2.0 will interact with visitors in real-time, providing assistance with travel inquiries, curated experiences, destination information, and more. This innovative AI technology aims to enhance the travel experience by offering personalized support and guidance.

Additionally, Qatar Airways customers can virtually interact with Sama 2.0 through the airline’s immersive digital platform, QVerse, or its dedicated app.

The debut of Sama 2.0 follows the global attention garnered by Sophia, another humanoid robot, notably granted citizenship by Saudi Arabia in 2017. Qatar Airways’ introduction of Sama 2.0 signifies a pioneering step in integrating advanced AI technology into the aviation industry.
