Reba McEntire and Rex Linn have reportedly faced tension in their relationship after getting engaged on Christmas Eve 2024.

According to insiders speaking with Radar Online, Reba claimed work was preventing her from marrying Rex. However, they noted this explanation as “crazy U-turn,” given her previous excitement about becoming a bride.

The insider added that Reba suggested the wedding could be an elopement and a bigger celebration later if necessary.

Friends of the couple believe Reba’s history with marriages is the real issue. They stated, “Reba’s commitment phobia has sunk in.”

Sources revealed Rex was kept waiting for a year before Reba accepted his proposal and kept it secret until they went public.

Rex Linn reportedly feels confused and insecure about Reba’s motives, and he could easily decide to walk away.
