Renowned Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik, along with Sheikh Faruk Naik, has confirmed plans to visit Pakistan this year, as announced through Dr. Naik’s official social media. The visit comes at the invitation of the Government of Pakistan and will include speaking engagements in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.
The schedule for Dr. Naik’s visit is as follows:
Dr. Naik had previously expressed his desire to visit Pakistan during an interview with a Pakistani YouTuber, explaining that he had intended to visit in 2020 but was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
When asked why he chose to settle in Malaysia instead of Pakistan after migrating from India, Dr. Naik explained that it would have been easy for him to move to Pakistan, as he was well-known there. However, he cited a principle of Shariah, stating that “small loss should be tolerated to avoid big loss,” as a reason for not making that decision at the time.
