The UK government has decided to release documents related to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s time as Trade Envoy. This decision comes after allegations of misconduct and an arrest during his 66th birthday.
The Department of Business and Trade released plans last month for the identification and preparation of material for release. Minister Chris Bryant stated that historic departmental records have been searched, along with other departments such as the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and the Cabinet Office.
Andrew is currently living at Marsh Farm while his permanent home, the Royal Lodge, undergoes renovation. His ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, has had few public sightings and rumors suggest she may be considering cosmetic surgery or writing a memoir to fit into London high society more easily. However, these rumors have not been confirmed by the Palace or Ferguson herself.
