Sadequain Art Exhibition Opens in Mississauga

On Monday, the Sadequain Art Exhibition opened its doors to celebrate Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage. Organized by the Sadequain Foundation USA in collaboration with media partners, the event was inaugurated by Muhammad Saleem Khan.

Khan Paid Tribute to Renowned Artist

In his opening remarks, Khan paid tribute to Syed Sadequain Ahmed Naqvi, highlighting the artist’s enduring legacy and how his work continues to inspire generations through its depth and spiritual essence. The exhibition aims to attract art and calligraphy experts, members of civil society and the media, as well as students and enthusiasts.

Collection Features Diverse Works

The collection features a diverse range of works including Islamic calligraphy, drawings, paintings, Urdu poetry, and wall carvings. Sheref Sabawy, a member of Ontario’s Provincial Parliament in attendance, shared images showcasing the collaboration and described the exhibition as a stunning showcase that pays tribute to Sadequain.

The Sadequain Art Exhibition not only honors the timeless legacy of one of Pakistan’s greatest artists but also serves as a cultural bridge fostering appreciation for Pakistani art and heritage within Canada’s diverse community.
