Sarah Drew Reveals Father’s Advice Helps Calm Her Panic Attacks

On May 23, actress and director Sarah Drew opened up about how her father Charles Drew’s advice helped alleviate her panic attacks during pregnancy.

Drew, who gained fame for her role as Dr. April Kepner in Grey’s Anatomy, shared these insights with Fox News in an interview.

She explained that she was experiencing anxiety over becoming a mother, worrying about making mistakes and resenting the demands of her future children.

Seeking guidance from her father, Drew received advice to practice “aggressive gratitude,” which he calls this because it can be challenging when one is caught up in negative thoughts.
