Security Forces Eliminate 11 Militants in North Waziristan Operation
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced that security forces eliminated 11 militants during an intelligence-based operation in the Datta Khel area of North Waziristan. The ISPR stated that the operation was conducted following intelligence reports, and an exchange of fire took place during the raid, resulting in the deaths of 11 militants.
A spokesperson for the Pakistan Army said that as part of ongoing intelligence-based operations, security forces targeted multiple militant hideouts in Datta Khel over the past 48 hours. The ISPR further stated that after intense fighting and heavy exchange of fire, 11 militants belonging to the Indian-backed group “Fitna al-Khawarij” were killed.
Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the slain militants, who were allegedly involved in several terrorist activities in the area. The military spokesperson added that sanitization operations are continuing to eliminate any remaining militants hiding in the region.
Under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee of the National Action Plan, Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue their relentless campaign against terrorism with full force.
