Security forces have successfully concluded Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-1 in Balochistan. According to the ISPR, a series of coordinated, swift, and intelligence-driven operations were conducted against Indian-sponsored terrorist elements seeking to disrupt peace and development by targeting innocent civilians, including women and children.

In a statement on Wednesday, the ISPR confirmed that operations commenced on the 29th of last month in Panjgur and the outskirts of Harnai District after credible and verified intelligence indicated the presence of such elements posing an imminent threat to local public safety.

During this phase, security forces targeted identified terrorist hideouts, eliminating 41 terrorists associated with Indian proxy networks. Subsequently, robust responses thwarted desperate attacks aimed at destabilizing Balochistan’s peace.

Following these successes, a broader series of intelligence-based operations were launched in multiple areas, aimed at dismantling terrorist sleeper cells through sustained combing and sanitization efforts. These engagements and subsequent clearance operations have resulted in the killing of 216 terrorists, significantly degrading their leadership, command-and-control structures, and operational capabilities.

The ISPR also reported a substantial cache of foreign-origin weapons, ammunition, explosives, and equipment recovered during these operations. Preliminary analysis suggested systematic external facilitation and logistical support to extremist proxies.

During these operations, 36 innocent civilians, including women and children, were killed, while 22 brave security forces and law enforcement personnel lost their lives in defense of Pakistan’s territorial integrity and citizens’ safety.

Their courage and professionalism reflect the highest traditions of service. The nation honors their sacrifice and stands in solidarity with the families of all martyrs.

The ISPR stated that the Pakistan Armed Forces remain steadfast in their resolve to combat terrorism under the ambit of the Government of Pakistan’s National Action Plan (NAP). Counter-terrorism operations will continue with full determination until the complete elimination of terrorist threats.

Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-1 stands as a testament to Balochistan’s and Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to peace, unity, and development.
