Senate Passes Resolution Strongly Condemning Terrorist Attacks in Balochistan

The upper house of Parliament unanimously adopted a resolution condemning the spate of terrorist attacks in Balochistan. The resolution urged the government to conduct a transparent, swift, and conclusive investigation into the incidents and bring the perpetrators, facilitators, and local and international sponsors of terrorism to justice as per the law.

It also called upon the federal and provincial governments to strengthen intelligence coordination, border security, and counter-terrorism mechanisms with a particular focus on Balochistan. More information will follow.
