Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori reaffirmed his commitment to public service and standing for truth, stating that his mission is to serve the people without political bias. He made these remarks during a ceremony held at the Governor House in Karachi under the “Ittehad Ramzan” initiative, where prizes were distributed to dozens of lucky individuals through a raffle draw.
The event saw 35 participants awarded residential plots, 27 granted Umrah tickets, 11 given motorcycles, and one recipient handed documents for a business shop. Addressing the audience, Tessori emphasized that welfare programs will continue regardless of political affiliations, with a focus on bringing lasting improvements to people’s lives. “Public service is my mission, and I will keep raising the voice of truth,” said the governor.
He added that after standing for justice, the next goal is to strengthen the country’s economy through active engagement and reforms. Tessori also highlighted ongoing initiatives at the Governor House, where over 50,000 children are currently receiving modern IT education. In addition, daily breakfast is being provided to students in more than 3,000 government schools across the province.
During the event, the governor paid tribute to social worker Haji Masood Parekh, calling him a source of support for the distressed. He also honored various welfare organizations by presenting shields in recognition of their services to society. Speaking on the occasion, Haji Masood Parekh — Chairman of Memon Khidmat Forum, Vice Chairman of Alamgir Welfare Trust, and President of Upplita Memon Association — expressed gratitude to Governor Tessori. He praised his efforts in educating the youth with modern skills, calling it a “lasting charity.”
Parekh stressed that Pakistani youth are highly intelligent and capable, and all they need is proper guidance. He added that serving humanity for the sake of Allah SWT is a mission that leads to eternal success.
Governor Tessori concluded by asserting that such initiatives are essential to improving lives across the province, and he will continue his welfare mission with sincerity and dedication, free from any political agenda.
