During their conversation, Sharif conveyed his felicitations for the occasion to President Subianto and the people of Indonesia. The president reciprocated warmly.
Both leaders prayed for peace between their nations and the Muslim world in general.
Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening ties with Indonesia and expanding cooperation across various fields.
The leaders also discussed regional issues, particularly ongoing conflicts in Iran and the Gulf region. They called for an immediate end to hostilities and resolution of disputes through dialogue and diplomacy.
