Jessie J has announced the cancellation of her upcoming concert at Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall. The 37-year-old singer made this announcement on Instagram in light of extreme weather conditions affecting the region. Heavy snowfall and dangerously low temperatures necessitated this decision.

“I am personally making the decision to cancel tonight’s show in Toronto,” Jessie explained. “I don’t feel comfortable having people risk their safety for the performance.”

She emphasized, “While I understand some may be upset or relieved by the cancellation, my primary concern is ensuring everyone’s safety remains paramount.”

Jessie further stated that all ticket holders will receive a full refund. “You will get a full refund for your tickets,” she added.

Additionally, Jessie shared her personal experience in standing at the venue: “I am currently standing inside the venue and attempting to enter it was not safe, with worsening snow conditions outside.” She concluded by expressing hope that fans could respect her decision despite any disagreements.

“Ensuring safety has always been my top priority,” Jessie reiterated. “Lots of love, J.”
