Two Israeli air strikes on two Palestinian police checkpoints in Khan Younis, Gaza Strip, resulted in at least six fatalities, including a child. Medics reported three policemen and three civilians were among those killed, with four others wounded.

The Israeli military did not immediately comment on the recent attacks. Since November’s ceasefire, over 680 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, according to local health officials. More than 72,000 casualties have been recorded since October 2023 war began.

Israel is now engaged in a conflict against Iran and has launched a new campaign in Lebanon, involving Israeli forces invading southern Lebanon. Despite the ceasefire, violence continues in Gaza, with at least 50 Palestinians killed by Israeli forces since the Iran conflict started a month ago.
