ISLAMABAD – Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori took a strong stance on Wednesday at a ceremony, reiterating concerns about the security and stability of Pakistan by linking it directly to regional conflicts.

He emphasized that Afghanistan had been warned not to allow its territory to be used as a launching pad for attacks against Pakistan. “We have provided substantial support to our Afghan brothers, but we can no longer remain indifferent,” Tessori declared. His words were laced with concern and frustration over the recent spate of terrorist activities emanating from Afghanistan into Pakistani soil.

The Governor went on to describe how his country’s military had demonstrated significant prowess in confronting militants in Afghanistan under the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir. “We showcased our capabilities by leaving India’s forces vulnerable, thereby teaching them a crucial lesson,” Tessori stated confidently.

He also praised President Trump for shedding light on the issue, emphasizing that Pakistan had always supported Afghan sovereignty despite global criticism. Notably, many prominent religious scholars in Afghanistan studied at seminaries in Pakistan.

Tessori detailed how Pakistani intelligence operatives had identified and apprehended terrorist elements sheltered within Afghan territory. “We dealt a severe blow to their hideouts,” he added. The Governor attributed this success to the strong leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir, who had guided Pakistan’s army with unwavering resolve throughout.

Additionally, Tessori highlighted India’s involvement in terrorism in Balochistan and Afghanistan, asserting that terrorists were being compelled to vacate their bases by the strength and dedication of the Pakistani forces. The Governor acknowledged India’s malicious influence on foreign investment, warning all adversaries of the country’s firm intent to maintain peace and security.

He concluded by emphasizing Pakistan’s commitment to fostering economic stability within its borders under Field Marshal Asim Munir’s guidance. “We shall continue our efforts to rid the region of terror,” Tessori pledged, underlining his resolve to safeguard national integrity.
