Ex-Duke of York branded arrogant by Diana’s former bodyguard

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the former Duke of York, has been labeled one of the most arrogant royals by Ken Wharfe, Princess Diana’s former bodyguard.

Wharfe served as Diana’s protection officer from 1988 to 1993. During his tenure, he had dealings with Mountbatten-Windsor and found him to be exceedingly arrogant. The ex-duke’s recent activities have reignited a toxic subject within the royal family circle: his ties to financier Marc Geeverth Epstein.

Since the Epstein scandal hit the Royal Family in 2019, Wharfe has taken a personal stance on Mountbatten-Windsor’s involvement. This summer saw numerous articles and reports focusing on the duke’s connection with Epstein, which now extends to his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson. As of late, the matter had not yet concluded.

Wharfe believes that the subject is only just beginning and wonders how it might unfold further. His concerns echo across a landscape where royal scandals often leave lasting scars. The fallout from Mountbatten-Windsor’s actions continues to impact his former wife and her daughter-in-law, with ramifications reaching beyond personal relationships into public scrutiny.

Wharfe’s observations underscore the ongoing tension within the royals’ inner circle. These dynamics have been marked by a series of scandals involving family members, each more entwined in secrecy and intrigue than the last. As the duke’s name resurfaces after years of relative quiet, these revelations raise questions about how the royal family manages public perception amidst personal crises.

The former Duke of York has once again put his position under intense scrutiny, drawing unwanted attention that continues to cast shadows over the delicate balance between private life and public expectation within the Royal Family.
