Thai Princess Bajrakitiyabha’s Condition Worsens Amid Multiple Infections, Royal Palace Statement

Thai Princess Bajrakitiyabha’s health has deteriorated due to multiple organ infections, with physicians struggling to control her erratic heartbeat. The Royal Palace announced this on Thursday.

The eldest daughter of King Vajiralongkorn was hospitalized in December 2022 after collapsing from a heart condition and other infections. She has been unconscious since then.

In April, doctors found a stomach infection that led to intestinal inflammation, causing her blood pressure to drop and her heartbeat to become irregular. The palace stated that despite medication and medical devices supporting her lungs and kidneys, her health continues to decline. Doctors will continue monitoring her condition and providing further treatment.

Last year, the influential Queen Mother passed away at 93 years old.
