Tiger Woods arrested for DUI suspicion after Florida crash

On Friday, March 27, pro golfer Tiger Woods was involved in a rollover accident while speeding on a street in Florida.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office reported that his Range Rover rolled over around 2 PM ET. Upon arrival, deputies found Woods weak and lethargic but an alcohol test registered 0.00%.

Sheriff Budensiek stated that they believe Woods was under the influence of medication rather than alcohol. Woods refused a urine test at the police station, leading to his booking for DUI and refusal of urinalysis.

This is not the first time Woods has been arrested for DUI; he faced similar charges in 2017 and narrowly avoided losing an arm in a Los Angeles crash in 2021 without being taken into custody.
