Trump’s Press Conference on Iran, Pope Sparks Controversy

On Monday, President Donald Trump received two bags of burgers from DoorDash at the Oval Office, an event that highlighted his ‘no tax on tips’ policy. Delivery worker Sharon Simmons, a grandmother from Arkansas with ten children, handed over the paper bags.

The delivery was intended to showcase how Trump’s policy had resulted in an $11,000 rebate for Simmons this year. However, the press conference quickly turned surreal as reporters questioned Trump about his AI-generated image of himself as Jesus Christ and his criticism of Pope Leo XIV on Iran.

Trump also discussed the ongoing conflict with Iran, which has raised concerns over its impact on the US economy ahead of the November midterm elections. He stated that a deal was possible if Iran stopped developing nuclear weapons.

The president then addressed the Pope’s stance on Iran, stating there was nothing to apologize for and criticizing him as being ‘wrong.’ The discussion also touched upon Trump’s ban on transgender individuals in women’s sports, with Simmons expressing no opinion on the matter.
