Turkey Asks US for More Talks on Iran Deal, Warns Against Provocations

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan spoke with Iranian counterpart Abbas Araqchi on Monday. He expressed hope that further talks between the US would lead to positive outcomes following an Iran-US deal aimed at halting the war.

Fidan also cautioned against actions that could undermine the agreement and pledged Turkey’s continued support for regional peace efforts, according to a Turkish diplomatic source.

Araqchi thanked Turkey for its role in the negotiation process, as reported by the same source.
