Two-Year-Old Drowns in Kamoke Drain Accident

In Kamoke, on Abdullah Road, a two-year-old boy named Ismail tragically fell into an open drain while playing outside his home. Local residents reported that he had been sighted by family members and neighbors just hours ago, as they were searching anxiously for him in the area.

The incident unfolded when Ismail slipped accidentally into the open drainage channel. His parents, overwhelmed with grief, quickly mobilized a search effort to find their child. After several hours of intensive searching, his body was discovered within the drain. Emergency rescue teams promptly responded, shifting and handling the grim task of recovering the child’s remains.

As family members were preparing for Ismail’s funeral, police arrived at the scene. They launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy, aiming to provide answers and closure to a community shocked by this heartbreaking event. Authorities acknowledged that their inquiries continued as they sought to uncover what had led to the boy’s untimely death in such a manner.
