DUBAI – The United Arab Emirates Vice President, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, discussed in a phone call with Iran’s parliament speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf de-escalation efforts in the ongoing conflict. This rare dialogue between the two countries took place amid the UAE condemning Iran’s attacks on Gulf states as terrorist acts and advocating for the unconditional reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
